Partner to the world's leading manufacturers
Oil & Gas Market
The oil and gas industry operates in some of the most challenging environments on earth, from arctic drilling platforms to deep-sea installations where equipment failure can result in catastrophic consequences. Safety is paramount in every activity, with parts that must perform reliably under extreme pressures, corrosive fluids, and temperature variations that would challenge any manufacturing process. Equipment downtime in petroleum operations translates to massive losses and potential environmental risks, making part reliability absolutely critical.
At Setforge, we understand the demanding nature of oil and gas applications and the importance of responsive partnership in this fast-moving industry. Our forge expertise covers drilling equipment, surface installations, subsea work, and flow control using steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialized corrosion-resistant alloys. We produce forged parts, up to 1500 kg, designed to withstand harsh petroleum environments. Our integrated approach includes machining and finishing processes, enabling complete delivery from our facilities. We emphasize customer service excellence, rapid response to urgent requirements, and comprehensive support from initial design through final delivery. Every forged and machined part we produce meets the stringent safety standards that define this industry.

FLOW CONTROL & surface system
Flow-control equipment manages flow rates and pressures at every stage of oil and gas installations, from the wellhead to processing units. Its components must respond precisely to commands, maintain their sealing despite pressure and temperature fluctuations, and resist corrosive or particle-laden fluids. Our forging processes produce components with consistent mechanical properties matched to the requirements of control, shut-off and safety valves. The tolerances, functional interfaces and surface finishes needed for sealing are then achieved through controlled machining and finishing operations. Our parts can be delivered as forged or fully finished, with machining performed in-house or entrusted to suppliers we select and qualify ourselves.

SUBSEA SYSTEM
Subsea operations impose particular constraints: components must withstand both the internal pressure of production fluids and the hydrostatic pressure of depth, in a corrosive marine environment where maintenance interventions are complex and costly. They must sustain their performance over long periods despite severe service conditions. Our forging expertise produces parts with a controlled microstructure and the toughness these applications require. Material selection, corrosion protection and in-process inspections complete this approach, meeting the reliability requirements of subsea equipment and limiting the need for replacement.
DRILLING SYSTEM
Drilling components are exposed to pressurized fluid circulation, abrasion, vibration and combined torsional, bending and tensile loads. Drill-string elements must preserve their mechanical integrity while penetrating rock formations that can lie thousands of meters below the surface. Hot forging helps reduce certain porosities and orients the grain flow along the part's geometry and main loads. This material structure supports resistance to high torque and fatigue performance under repeated rotation cycles. Our prototyping capabilities and technical support also help meet the demanding schedules of drilling programs, where component availability directly affects the continuity and cost of operations.
