Safety Under High Stress

Forging helps reduce certain porosities and internal discontinuities that could compromise the strength of critical components. Controlled material flow also orients the grain structure along each part's geometry and main loads. Combined with suitable design and treatments, these characteristics enhance the strength and fatigue performance of components exposed to the repeated cycles of passing trains and varying loads.
