Our Setforge Barriol et Dallière site in Andrézieux-Bouthéon recently welcomed over 50 business leaders. This gathering was organized by Bpifrance around the theme "Resilient Industrials in Turbulent Times." Together, we shared our experiences, strategies, and innovations with the regional industrial ecosystem.
A RICH AND INSPIRING PROGRAM
The morning kicked off with a panel discussion moderated by Philippine Lucille. Three key figures took part: Véronique Joubert Mounier, Bpifrance Regional Director, Hervé Gestas, CEO of Setforge, and Mikaël Pugnet, Director of Setforge Barriol et Dallière. Their conversation focused on our strategies in the face of current challenges, our core values, and the successful turnaround of Barriol & Dallière. In particular, they highlighted the integration of a machining line that has significantly strengthened our competitiveness.
Several thematic workshops then explored our key projects in depth:
E-CAR: Our Decarbonization Project - Frédéric Perdriset, COO of Setforge, presented our group-wide E-CAR project. He also shared our ambition to become a leader in decarbonized forging.
EPITHER: Innovation for Composites - Camille Sébastien, EPITHER Project Manager, and Pierre Zoboli, EPITHER Sales Manager, led a dedicated workshop on our innovative thermoplastic composite forming process. As a result, they demonstrated our ability to explore new technological territories.
Participants subsequently discovered our forging and machining workshops during a guided tour. Led with passion by our experts Mathilde Chavanne, Arnaud François, and Pierre Pascal, this immersion provided a concrete understanding of our manufacturing processes and expertise.
LA FRENCH FAB’S COQ BLEU: A COLLECTIVE RECOGNITION
A highlight of the morning was the honor of receiving the Coq Bleu of La French Fab. Yvan Demars, Bpifrance Network Director, personally presented this award to our teams. This recognition therefore honors the commitment and hard work of everyone involved in service of French industrial excellence.
ESSENTIAL MEETINGS FOR THE INDUSTRIAL ECOSYSTEM
These meetings between industrials are truly invaluable. First, they enable us to better understand each other's challenges. Furthermore, they allow us to concretely share our experiences, motivations, and solutions. Finally, they help build lasting connections within our ecosystem.
Together, we are stronger in the face of current turbulence. A big thank you to Bpifrance for their constant support and for organizing this wonderful morning. We are also grateful to all the entrepreneurs present for these enriching exchanges.
