Partner to the world's leading manufacturers
Medical Market
The medical industry is moving toward ever more precise, automated and personalized equipment, incorporating advanced technologies and high-performance materials. From laboratory centrifuges to rehabilitation exoskeletons and other motorized assistance systems, this equipment requires rugged, lightweight, dimensionally stable components that perform reliably under repeated stresses. The safety and performance of these devices depend on many well-controlled mechanical elements, sometimes combined with motors, sensors or control systems. Components must therefore meet high standards of strength, precision, traceability and manufacturing consistency.
At Setforge, we support medical equipment manufacturers from initial design and prototyping through industrialization and series production. Our forging expertise covers stainless steel, titanium, aluminum and dedicated alloys, from parts weighing 0.1 kg to larger structural elements. Every solution is developed around the mechanical, dimensional and documentation requirements of the project.
One Partner. At every step.

Engineering, Tooling, Machining, Heat treatment and more… in-house or through our certified partners. One point of contact, one quality standard.
From Forging to Medical Component
Our forging processes yield components with a high strength-to-weight ratio and high mechanical integrity. Controlled material flow matches the grain structure to each part's geometry and main loads. Combined with appropriate design, materials and treatments, this approach improves the fatigue performance of components exposed to repeated cycles, notably in centrifuge equipment and motorized medical systems.
These characteristics enable parts engineered to preserve their dimensional stability and mechanical performance throughout the equipment's specified service life, subject to the testing and validation appropriate to each application. Our organization covers forging, machining and finishing, performed in-house or with partners selected to suit the project. This approach supports control of critical characteristics, manufacturing traceability and adaptation to each component's technical requirements. Through our technical support and industrial flexibility, we help optimize weight, performance and development lead times while meeting the quality targets defined with our customers.
